Project Undertaken to date:Equinix SG3 - Completed the Green Field Data Center which can accommodate approximately 5,000 cabinets at full build, 1,000 of which will be available in the first phase. SG3 being Equinix's flagship data center is the largest Data Center in Asia Pacific with a gross floor area of about 385,000sqft, the building has been awarded the prestigious Platinum Award for the BCA-IDA Green mark for new Data Centres. This is the highest green accolade jointly conferred by the BCA and IDA of Singapore for Data Centre Development. Equinix Asia Pacific Pte LtdProject Undertaken:Equinix SG2-III & IV – Appoint the consultant team and lead the consultant team to plan and design 150,000sqft white space for data hall equip with new cooling plant, electrical plant room/infrastructural space. Lead the tendering process to appoint NSCs and Main contractor. To build 3 N+1 data hall with supporting plant room estimated to be 100,000sqft of the total design space and complete the project 1 month ahead of the RFS date.Equinix SG2-IV – Appoint and lead the project team to complete the project 1 month ahead of the RFS date. Constructed and built 75,000sqft data center space. 2 no (2N) data hall and involve integration to the different monitoring system and full integrating system testing for the new data center.Equinix SG2-V – Appoint the consultant team, plan and design a total of 75,000sqft data center, new cooling plant, plantroom/infrastructural space and concurrently upgrade the overall security control of the premises. Spearhead the competitive tendering process for the NSCs and main contractor. Appoint and lead the consultants together with the NSCs and Main contractor to complete the project on time.Equinix SG2-HV Upgrade – Construct new PG substation in Pioneer Walk to bring in the direct 4 feeder 22kV from PowerGrid before carrying out the transferring of load for the live Data Center to the new incoming supply.Equinix SG1 UPS 5B Replacement – This project allows Equinix not only to replace the old UPS system and at the same time to reorganize the older/smaller Data Center space. Plan and transfer the existing electrical load from the old UPS to the new UPS system.
