This area has 1350 buildings belonging to Telstra with a total NLA of 374,000m2. Audited all sites within the area and implement ISO 9000 and 9002. Fitted out and implemented management systems for a 73,000-m2 commercial office building on behalf of the building owners (Australian Estate Management). Full authority to run the R.G. Casey Building as a stand-alone site and as it would be my own business, to make it a "pilot centre of excellence" both technically and financially, to make a 15-year Life Cycle Costing (LCC) plan for the building. Sat up a multi skilled building management and maintenance team. Checked project for compliance of government building codes and specs. Made recommendations on building automation and management systems and implement. Gathered information and made recommendations for the building security systems and implement. Produced monthly board/committee reports and attend meetings. Made sure the building was ready for occupancy by end of September 1996. Produced a building management plan. Organised and coordinated the complete interior fit out of the building.
