My expertise is extracting clear requirements and developing concise business cases which can leverage Redpoint's RTLS platform.• Analyze business requirements and develop functional/system specifications. Work with customers to apply RTLS/RFID products to "real world" problems. Establish technical credibility on complex projects.• Performs systems engineering and testing where appropriate to ensure delivery of products and solutions to customer sites. • Lead engineering and architecture effort for RFI/RFP response involving the construction of detailed cost proposals and presentations for clients.• Manage projects to ensure customer expectations are met. At a minimum this includes deployment scheduling, installation, integration efforts, delivering data products and User Interfaces, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.• Work with the development staff to determine evolutionary path of software and hardware product line to support industry partners.

I have raised over $5M and manage a portfolio of product development efforts at Q-Track aimed at commercializing our proprietary indoor location technology. One such application is a military training tool that allows for real-time monitoring of soldiers in Military Operations in Urban Terrain scenarios. Another is the integration of a real-time athlete tracking and physiological monitoring system to support training and competitive play. Among my research interests are low frequency and electrically small antenna and array design, tracking technologies such as indoor positioning systems/GPS. Authored 50+ research publications and delivered over 100 public colloquia. Proposal and grant development and contract administration experience. I am a co-author on two USPTO patents, and am currently working on numerically efficient and robust location algorithms implementing RF fingerprinting with indoor positioning systems.
