I am interested in learning about the business behind creative, e-commerce, and cultural enterprises that participate in philanthropy to better aid and serve their communities. I want to determine my strengths and how I define success. I want to learn everything from design rights, patents, etc. to how to build, run, and grow an effective company. I have always been intrigued by the idea of creating my own business: Starting small, taking risks, and growing a successful concept from scratch. I am also interested in engaging with my community and having a company that directly benefits it. I would like to give a portion of my business’ proceeds to aid in different nonprofits that I believe require attention and assistance and learn about the process of aiding non-profits with a business venture.The most valuable skills that I possess are responsibility, time management, and balancing school and work. I have maintained exceptional grades while working a part-time job to financially support my single mother. It has been a difficult journey, but I have enjoyed every step of the process. I have absorbed invaluable skills that have aided me and will continue throughout my quest for higher education. My communication skills with customers are excellent. I take pride in providing the best aid to not only customers but other members of my community. I believe that our society must work together and solve issues to grow and continue prospering.
