Meet Eric J. RodriguezEric J. Rodriguez is an accomplished author, playwright, and thought leader who has dedicated his life to community service and progressive policy making. A native of the coastal bend area of Texas, Eric is a single father to a beautiful and intelligent 13-year-old daughter.Being a single father is never easy, but Eric J. Rodriguez has taken on the challenge with grace and determination. Eric has had to juggle work, home life, and fatherhood all at once. But he's never given up, and despite the challenges, Eric wouldn't trade being a single father for anything in the world. He loves his daughter dearly and is proud of the woman she is becoming. In fact, he credits her as one of his biggest inspirations in life.A former leader of the Sierra Club, Citizens Climate Lobby, NAACP, American Federation of Government Employees, Big Brother Big Sister, and South Texas World Affairs Council, Eric has a wealth of experience working with diplomats from all over the world to find new solutions to risk and safety in the energy field. In just 5 short years, he has made a name for himself in politics, self-publishing his first book, writing and producing his first play, and now training for his first Ironman triathlon.
