After my placement finished, EPC and its amazing HR team decided to continue to work with me and take me on full time, as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant! Now that I became a full time employee, I was able to fully dive into the world of HR and learn what it really had to offer. I have primarily focused my time on recruitment, learning and taking part of EPCโs entire process from candidate screening and selection, to interviews, to setting up the on-boarding for employees using HR informations systems. While most of my time has been in recruitment, I also take part in market research efforts - for example, researching available organizations that provide various services that our team could take advantage of, or other administrative duties such as completing and documenting employee files or generating reports for other department managers regarding updates on open positions. EPC has allowed me to get a true taste for what HR has to offer, letting me apply everything I have learned at Durham College in my advancement diploma program in Business Administration - Human Resources. -
