Born in Brooklyn, Dad hit it big and we moved to Huntington, Long Island. My professional journey began in Los Angeles, California, producing Rock n' Roll Videos and concerts where, along with a talented group of friends, we created a company that was the beginning of the Rock Video-MTV world we know today.I segued to my families’ business in the world of Advertising and Television Commercials where I worked for three major Ad Agencies and produced a multitude of well-known, award-winning national television commercial campaigns. I soon became an Executive Producer of one of the world's largest TV Commercial production companies and traveled extensively producing spots in Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Santiago, Chile and Europe.In 1995 I moved to Asheville, NC. While I continued to work as Executive Producer at a boutique creative ad agency in Charleston, SC. My life and priorities changed dramatically with the birth of my daughter in 1999 and I needed to be closer to her full-time. I refocused my priorities to pursue one of my great passions - Food, Wine and People. I opened my first restaurant in 2000 in Asheville, the Savoy. The Savoy was a an instant success and and widely recognized as one of the nation's best fine dinning restaurants. I then created and ran several fast casual concepts. I currently own and operate Vinnie’s Neighborhood Italian Restaurant - an homage to my youth and the great neighborhood Italian restaurants of the Northeast.My entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to my passions for Food, Wine & People, lives on with the brands and companies I have had the joy of creating and running, along with many very talented partners and employees, over the past 21 years. Life is about the journey and the education that one gets from the experiences, trials and tribulations of taking risks and the success and failures that emerge.
