In this role, I worked during Duke University football and basketball games. On game days, I was entrusted to supervise the various COVID-19 Vaccination Tents around the main campus. I ensured that our staff members working at each of the tents were verifying vaccination cards and COVID-19 tests correctly. Also, I would assign staff members to other tent locations as necessary, and fill in for tent locations that were short-staffed.

I helped to receive truck deliveries twice a week. I also would stock shelves and work on the sales floor as needed.

Create and monitor online content regarding current furniture products or collections. Establish strategies to broaden our social media following.

Set up pre-game parties for fans at home games, and carry out in-game contests. Run vendor setups at local events to promote the team.

Set up marketing tables, signage, and equipment around venues in preparation for our sports teams’ home games. Assisted in carrying out necessary operational components of home games, such as scorekeeping, recording substitutions, and managing ball chasers.
