I'm continuing my budding career in the Upstate of South Carolina as the 6 p.m. News Producer at the CBS affiliate WSPA, covering the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson-Asheville area. I thrive off of breaking news, but also love to work with reporters on a strong investigation. While news is my passion, I have a strong understanding of sports and am often called upon to help with the production of major crossover sports-news events.Over the past year and change at WSPA, I've had the opportunity to work on several major news stories including the Charleston church shooting, the Confederate Flag debate & subsequent removal from Columbia's state house grounds, the historic flooding in October 2015, the heated primaries for the 2016 presidential election, the Carolina Panthers' first Super Bowl appearance in a decade and the Clemson Tigers' run to the national championshipI have my sights set on big things after Spartanburg, but I'm making the most of my time here.

6 P.M. News ProducerWspa-Tv 7 News May 2015 - PresentSpartanburg, ScI craft a hyperlocal rundown using content that the station enterprises. As soon as I walk in the door Monday through Friday, I begin a dialogue with reporters that doesn't wrap up until their story is seen through and passed along to the nightside producers. I manage three to six live shots a day and coordinate their content and delivery with anchors, directors and editors. I create maps and order graphics throughout the day as necessary.
