• Provides 7/24 customer support for the installation, troubleshooting and escalation of all Dothill Storage products• Immediate support liaison for business partners (partial listing); SUN, Network Appliance, Motorola, Wausau Financial, FalconStor, Onstor, Fujitsu Siemens Co. regularly execute performance testing using IOmeter, Mksure, DD, and IOstat• Assist in developing and editing of Support Knowledge Base• Work closely with Development and QA to ensure customer product issues are resolved appropriately• Participate in an on-call rotation for high-priority escalations and emergency system maintenance• Provide effective and timely communication to customers and support teams• Train support teams on new products and product updates• Edit release notes and product documentation for Dothill products.

• Perform technical support for enterprise customers• Provide on-site, unscheduled, emergency customer assistance as required• Participate in standby rotation in support of planned activities• Provide support for scheduled installs and upgrades

• Provide customer support for the installation and troubleshooting of Fiber/SCSI RAID units, tape backups, and high-end servers in the Windows NT/Unix environment• Travel to customer’s site to resolve technical issues and perform installations of Dothill products• Train technicians in repair service center on Dothill products• 7x24 support contact for Motorola (Switch Mate II), Qualcomm (Globalstar), and Legato (backup software) products, first in charge• Work closely with System Engineering group for testing and evaluation of new products

• Bench diagnostics and repair of Storage Hardware, including single disks to RAIDS• Individual testing of repaired hardware on specific configuration and platforms• Platform testing of hardware on Sun, SGI, HP, IBM, DEC and PC
