Eric is currently working in the renewable energy sector deploying as much solar, wind and biomass as possible, as well as integrating these technologies. He is also actively researching new energy storage technologies. He has always been passionate about environmental issues and human activism. Eric has had careers in several areas. He spent twenty years in the film/video field where he worked on some of the first HD film to video transfers and standards conversions, as well as, working in most areas of production and post-production. He has kept his hand in film and video with a series of online promotional videos for the best selling work, “Sex at Dawn: the prehistoric origins of our modern sexuality”. Eric is also a homebuilder and woodworker, having owned his own contracting business for ten years, concentrating on high-end remodels and renovations. He specialized in using green building techniques and reclaimed materials in many of his projects. His research into repetitive motion injuries of ultrasound technicians has led to the invention and patent of a mechanical assist device, which is currently in R&D. He is also an avid sailor, enjoys writing poetry and shooting 35mm film. Eric is continually looking for ways to improve himself and the world around him.
