As a Product Engineer at Wirerope Works Inc. I am responsible for our claims and complaints. I analyze returned material or make a site visit to analyze the product in question then report on any rope or other issues that may have affected the ropes service life. I also make site visits, at customer request, to examine the rope and equipment to offer advice on how to increase product service life. I have been heading research and development on current and new products such as elevator rope, mining rope, etc. I am also involved in some Operations Engineering throughout our facility ensuring quality product. I have also received my Six Sigma Black Belt training and have been working on projects at our Williamsport and Sunbury facilities.I also assist in AutoCAD drawings for customers for projects.

As a Strander at Wirerope Works Inc. I was in charge of running a stranding machine. These machines made strands that were then closed into a rope. I also have experience running and troubleshooting pre-stretching machines and buncher type strandning machines.
