I am currently working as the lead modeller (Economic Analyst) in the Model Development and Quantitative Research Division (MDQRD) at Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) for ECCC's Multi-Sector Multi-Regional (EC-MSMR) computable general equilibrium (CGE) model based in GAMS-MPSGE coding language. EC-MSMR is an open-economy recursive-dynamic CGE model of the global economy. There are 23 basic commodity-producing sectors and 3 final-demand sectors and captures international trade dynamics between the 17 regions modelled. I also have experience working with Oxford Economics Global Economic Model (GEM). The majority of my work is focused on model development activities and engaging with stakeholders to conduct policy analysis as well as, conducting research in support of the Divisions mandate including; emissions pricing, emission reduction targets, net-zero pathways, Border Carbon Adjustment (BCA) mechanisms, Internationally Transferable Mitigation outcomes (ITMOs), energy systems, carbon removal technologies, renewable fuels, etc...My other responsibilities within MDQRD include mentoring & training junior colleagues and co-op students, Division lead for co-op hiring, session organizer for ECCC's participation at the annual Canadian Economics Association Conference. I graduated from my undergraduate degree with a major in economics and minor in business studies from MacEwan University.Completed Financial Risk Management Exam part I (4-4-3-3)GAMS, R, Python, Matltab, STATA, Microsoft Office.
