I am a recent graduate in Social work and have worked in the field of behavioural mental healthy for almost 2 years. I have a passion for working with at risk youth and being able to build connections with them, that will help them reach their full potential. I ultimately want to take the experience that I am getting through working in this field to be able to apply it to a career in policing. I am trained in non-violent crisis intervention, suicide intervention, etc. These are just some of the interventions and skills that I have acquired since working in the field of mental health. I have multiple years of experience working with various groups of people in different work environments. I strive to make people's worst day ever, a little bit better and to let people know they have support if they want it.
