• Directed all plan, policy and project development and implementation in the Central Business District, including the following: acquisition of over 5 acres of prime CBD property for the development of a hotel/conference center; $2.5 million capital improvements program; low-interest short term loan program; transportation improvements; coordinator and organizer of City's annual performing arts street festival - CityFest - coordinated the work of a 25 man committee and raised thousands in private contributions. Generated over $50,000 in program income to the City's CDBG program through completed downtown projects. CityFest previously ranked as one of the top 10 state tourist attractions.
