Eric Szanto is a junior at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University studying Supply Chain Management and Data Analytics. He is a very motivated student who is seeking to gain real-world experience in the field of Supply Chain Management. He is eager to apply his academic knowledge to practical challenges and inherit the professional skills necessary for supply chain management. Since the start of his studies at ASU, he has had a desire to learn more and continue to expand his knowledge as a future employee in his desired field of study.Prior to attending ASU, Eric first started learning about business with his work experience at a golfing venue in Phoenix Arizona. His experience there brought lots of insight into the many parts of business which ultimately broadened his understanding of running a business. During the start of his college studies, he has been currently working with the ASU Baseball grounds crew. His current position has provided him with hands-on experience with landscaping and knowledge of managing the supply chain. It has allowed him to understand coordination with suppliers with all their materials and equipment that gets bought out for their business as a groundskeeper. With Eric in just his second year at Arizona State, he has put together some achievements that show his dedication to his studies and demonstrate his admirable work ethic. After his freshman year at ASU, he was invited to be a part of the Leaders Academy within the W.P Carey School of Business for being one of the highest achieving students. Being a part of the Leaders Academy has brought him a perception on the importance of networking with other students and possibly future employers. Eric has also recently joined the Supply Chain Management Association, which has given him a great source of excitement and passion for understanding the intricacies of the supply chain. With it only being his third year at Arizona State University, Eric is very ambitious and motivated to learn and create a great and clear path for his future endeavors in the business world.Outside of Eric’s professional endeavors, he loves watching his favorite sports teams and being around his family and friends. He also enjoys going out and trying new restaurants and stores here where he was born and raised in Phoenix Arizona.
