Freelance collegiate composer since 2019. Pursuing a Bachelor's of Music in Music Composition at Western Michigan University, with the intention of continuing higher education, and developing my compositional craft. In addition to composing, I seek a career as an arts administrator, with aspirations of one day founding my own ensemble.I care deeply about education of the arts, promoting the enjoyment and study of music, and appreciation of nature. I write music for classical concert hall ensembles with a modern and accessible approach. The goal of my music is to use sound to emphasize the beauty of life and nature, from the simple and discreet, to grandiose and well-understood.I spend my free time enjoying life, making memories with friends, exploring new places, learning about art and the world, and getting lost in nature.I am a supporter of the democratization of the arts. Many have been discouraged from exploring artistic interests due to societal expectations and/or lack of financial means. Anyone should be able to create, regardless of their background.
