Through the CBYX/PPP fellowship, I lived in Germany for 11 months, where I attended German language school in Cologne, a semester at Leuphana University, and completed internships at Hanseatic Help and the East Prussian State Museum.

I worked with campus activities and Vassar's meal provider to enhance the dining experience for all involved. Through developing community-driven programming, creating environmentally-conscious initiatives, and advocating for student interests, I made the food at Vassar more local, sustainable, and culturally relevant.

I worked with the Environmental Cooperative at the Vassar Ecological Preserve to design and lead educational programming for students in the greater Poughkeepsie area.

I supervised middle school ballet dancers at all hours over six weeks of intensive dance instruction and organized programming for them outside of class.

I assisted the House Advisor in managing as well as provided technical and emotional support to Student Fellows in Olivia Josselyn House.

I tutored students at Krieger Elementary School through the Vassar English Language Learners Outreach Program.

I helped our House Fellow plan events for residents of our building.

I researched restoration ecology and invasive species management at the Vassar Farm and Ecological Preserve as well as at the Edith Roberts Ecological Laboratory.

I worked on the light and sound boards. I also assisted in light set-up.

I was a primary planner in the 2018 NYLT program and oversaw other staff members. Additionally, I taught leadership skills in large group settings.

I was responsible for creating videos documenting and promoting NYLT. Additionally, I was a member of senior staff and taught leadership skills in large group settings,

I taught leadership skills to teens in small, immersive settings.

I was the primary youth leader of Indiana's chapter of the Junior Classical League. As President, I planned and led all executive board meetings, led general assemblies at our events, led two statewide event committees, secured a governor proclamation for Indiana Latin Week, and oversaw the other officers in their duties.

I was the primary planner of a two-day convention for over 300 students studying Latin and the Classics. For this convention, I created the schedule, networked with leaders across the state to run events, balanced the budget, and designed a 20-page program. In addition to my convention duties, I also assisted the IJCL board with executing other responsibilities.

Through this internship, I assisted in the production and delivery of various baked goods. I discovered innovative baking techniques, met people of diverse backgrounds, and learned how small companies run.
