 Designed, engineered, and managed 60Way Hybrid header connector from concept to PV tooling release and testing. Utilized 6.3mm terminal, 2.8mm terminal and 1.5mm terminal.  Managed multiple connector programs including timing, design corrections, customer requests (ex. a new keyway on a connector), and testing for DV to PV.  Developed tooling and sales drawing for customer and manufacturing reviews.  Prepared DVP&R and PVP&R’s for testing using current USCAR specifications.  Worked on DFMEA’s for new projects for any required changes to existing programs.  Supported RFQ responses by developing 3D CAD designs (using Catia V5) that meet customer specifications.  Managed suppliers for part orders, and new tooling requests to insure proper timing is met.  Part of USCAR management meetings to review any potential changes needed to the specifications.  Trained and mentored new engineers and design employees.  In process of being approved for three patent for connectors.

Attending industry standards meetings (USCAR Management meetings and others) provide technical information and advice back to JAE.  Supporting the sales staff in identifying new business opportunities.  Supporting the quality engineering team in communicating with customers for the resolution of quality related issues.  Assisting the Oregon design group in capturing customer requirements and supports presentations by the Oregon design team to customers.  Assisting the Oregon design and purchasing teams in identifying potential suppliers for tooling, testing and prototyping needs.  By using Solid Works 2014, Lead the development of new product connector applications in camera, safety, board to wire, wire to wire, USB, HDMI, and other infotainment applications.
