As a consultant, I am able to combine my experience within the elevator industry to benefit any building owner, architect, or management firm as their industry expert and problem solver. I provide my clients value at the highest level by maximizing equipment longevity, managing contractor performance and solving system issues. Now with ATIS, our services range from system design, modernization planning, maintenance evaluation, and/or project management of any elevator, escalator, or any vertical transportation system project. ATIS provides mandated elevator inspection services as well for a full suite of consulting to maximize client return on investment in our services.For my background, I joined the elevator industry in 1992. After completing the prestigious Montgomery Elevator training program, I worked through positions of increasing responsibility and promotion with Montgomery (acquired by Kone), Payne (acquired by Thyssen/Dover/ThyssenKrupp), and Motion Control Engineering (MCE). I began my consulting career by joining an international consulting firm in 2004, then obtained my Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) license, certified by the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities International (www.NAESAI.org). I worked in the New England region, and was heavily involved with the Massachusetts Elevator Safety Association (www.mesassoc.com), serving as President until 2016.I've been fortunate enough to be on design teams for project notable projects like Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts Expansion, Fontainebleau Miami, International Place, the award winning elevator addition at Bowdoin College’s Walker Museum, and the expansion of Harvard’s Fogg Museum to name a few. Ownership groups like Yale University, the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority, Blackstone, Marriott, Hilton and many others have entrusted me with myriad of consulting services.
