Primary directive is to deliver a smooth, well documented, and timely close out of the 28000 sqft Class II medical device manufacturing facility in West Covina, CA- Provide technical support to manufacturing floor during the closeout and transfer of equipment & technology (Drawings, Prints, Schedules and Plan interpretation)- Design and Implement cost controls, first line approver of project purchases and resource allocations. (Site level cost tracking, controls, and metrics)- Collaborate with Acquisition teams to execute deliverables and timelines for process transfers.- Track top level project results and act as enabler in manufacturing team obstacles and roadblocks.- Provide transparency to project tasks, schedules, team commitments and milestones. (Host daily start-up team meetings.- Verify work results of technical suppliers and vendors. ( Final sign off for completion)- Communicate and submit site level metrics and reporting to Sr. leadership

Primary directive was to provide on the floor manufacturing and engineering leadership in the Build-out and commissioning of a 58,000 sqft Modular Home smart factory delivering 2 apartment units per day.- Perform feasibility studies and validate production layout of industrial equipment and machinery.- Point of contact for all equipment installation vendors and suppliers- Perform validation of equipment and process - Designed and implemented internal operation procedures and systems: MES, ADP, WMS, ERP- Resolve project road blocks and provide ownership of plan deviations

Primary directive was to lead and support the Commerce CA Site Transformation initiative to a Lean Enterprise. - Facilitate and lead teams on continuous improvement projects through lean manufacturing, process control, automation, and process capabilities.- Develop process improvements for fabrication and assembly. Provide on-going technical support for new and existing manufacturing systems.- Apply CAD tools for development of tools, jigs, and fixtures in support of production and Inspection - Design, plan, and implement new warehouse storage and kitting logic, material flow, and area layout- Perform capacity studies and recommend labor and workforce allocation within fasteners production line.- Collaborate with Panasonic Avionics for supplier audits, process improvements, and NCRs.- Train manufacturing operators on process or product changes and corrections

Primary directive was to support day-to-day manufacturing of fuselage aerostructures and contribute to development of site level improvements, complex studies, and technical project initiatives- Maintain metrics for daily IPT meetings.- Develop and validate Aerospace labor standards for the Boeing 747-8 program.- Develop and validate Aerospace sub-assembly labor standards for the Boeing 767 program.- Implement site wide SAP software system for Boeing 767 sub-assembly and 747 final assembly.- Cellular design and establish manufacturing assembly process for Embraer Program- Create production capacity simulation models using ELS labor standards.- Train and instruct production personnel on labor standards and performance.- Support CIP Program to deliver $3 million in onsite savings in the Rubber& Composites Operation- Collaborate with cross functional teams drive CI projects throughout the value stream.- Perform process and manufacturing system audits and evaluations.- Mentor Jr level engineers to deliver assignments on time and within scope.
