In May 2023, Next Play Capital merged with Legacy Venture, creating Next Legacy Partners. As Operating Partner at Next Legacy Partners, Eric continued his functions for the Next Play Capital funds which included managing fund administration, accounting, finance, reporting, legal and compliance. He also continued with leading Investor Relations for the historical Next Play Capital investors.

Eric is a General Partner and the Operating Partner for Next Play Capital implementing and overseeing all administrative and back office functions for the Firm and its investment vehicles. This includes finance, legal, compliance, HR, and IT.Eric also heads the Investor Relations team covering 800+ investors ranging from HNW individuals, family offices, RIA/Wealth Advisors, consultants, endowments, foundations and pension plans. In addition, Eric continues to supporting the Firm’s efforts with underlying venture funds to identify the founders and companies where the Firm can add value through its network in sports, media, and health/wellness.

Binary Capital Partners is a first time an early-stage venture firm focused on consumer technology. As Operating Partner, I helped with fund raising for the inaugural fund, which hit the hard-cap of $125m in less than five-months time and was one and a half times over-subscribed.I also implemented the operational infrastructure for the firm and the fund and manage development of all non-investment areas for the firm, including finance, investor relations, legal/compliance and fund administration.
