I am an educator well versed in food sustainability sales and teaching in nontraditional outdoor environments. From my diverse work experience in seafood sale coordination, startup project management, social media marketing, marine education, and experiential learning, I gained a unique and valuable perspective of how people feel connected to and separated from the ocean, and how that affects their connection to and desire for sustainable local seafood. I worked closely with marine educators, commercial fishermen, high-end chefs, home cooks and consumers. I thrive in collaborative and dynamic team settings, and am constantly looking for opportunities to improve and promote the sustainability, equity, and accessibility of United States seafood and find creative solutions to food insecurity.
