•Support 700 enrolled students through the oversight of four departments: academic advising, residence life, student involvement, and counseling•Hire, train, and manage four full-time professional staff including three student success advisers, and a counselor in residence•Responsible for annual budget of $214,866 for the student success department•Scale services in academic advising to match growth in student enrollment by increasing individual advising interactions by 39% while maintaining 89.6% first-time full-time freshmen retention•Direct counseling and disability services, provide training initiatives for academic leadership, develop a comprehensive student wellness programming model, and support student accommodation needs•Provide 24/7 on-call crisis response on a rotational basis, and manage all procedures associated with on-call emergency response for the university including response to Hong Kong 2019 – 2020 protests•Liaise with a third party leasing office to provide university housing for 321 students with 99% occupancy, and coordinate quarterly check-in/out, health and safety inspections, student programming, and all university provided residential transportation•Coordinate all aspects of orientation for incoming students, with an overall focus on connecting students to resources, connecting students to each other, and reducing anxiety•Oversee participation and engagement in student clubs and organizations through development and implementation of policies, processes, and delivery of information to club leadership•Investigate issues of student misconduct, and adjudicate higher level violations of the code of student conduct related to student safety and Title IX violations•Collaborate with faculty on a quarterly basis to provide excursions as part of an initiative to create out of the classroom learning opportunities that blend elements of culture and nature in an exciting way

•Provided individual counseling to over 20% of the SCAD Hong Kong student population, and created student outreach and psychoeducation as part of an initiative to destigmatize counseling services•Formed scheduling, documentation, and reporting procedures for the SCAD Hong Kong Counseling and Student Support Services department, and retrofit paper intake forms to a new digital process•Delivered immediate response to students’ residential and clinical crises on a 24 hour basis and co- developed an incident reporting procedure with the Residence Life Coordinator•Originated activities and initiatives to facilitate student involvement, well-being, and acculturation and offered programming for self-defense, drug and alcohol prevention programming, and sexual assault awareness•Updated local medical services information, and established relationships with local providers to provide student discounts for medical consultations, counseling services, and psychiatric appointments
