Worked in product support helping Cat distributors troubleshoot problems and weld procedures for maintenance of mining equipment in the field. Direct support to distributors of in field weld repair procedures for 5130 and 5230 Caterpillar Mining Shovels.

Germany

Achieved rank of Captain in the US Army Combat Engineers. Assignments include Platoon Leader, Battalion Adjutant, and Rear Detachment Commander for the 16th Engineer Battalion, V Corps Europe, for 3 year tour in Bamberg, Germany. Served the Civilian side of the Corps of Engineers as a Quality Assurance and OSHA Safety Compliance Officer at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO for remainder of active assignment.
