Starting May, 2014, I interned with the Evelo/Singer/Sullivan Group of Merrill Lynch. The Evelo/Singer/Sullivan Group is one of the preeminent wealth management teams in the country, having the distinction of all three principals being recognized as leading Financial Advisors by Barron's magazine. The group oversees approximately $3.2 billion in assets for affluent and ultra-affluent clientsOver summer, 2014, I began to work full-time with the group, but transitioned into part-time during my semester of full-time classes. Beginning in January, 2015, I returned to work in a full-time position with the group. Throughout my time interning, I have developed my professional skills, as well as my interest and knowledge in Wealth Management and Financial Planning field. During my time working with the group, I assisted the analyst group with equity and sector analysis, as well as performed analysis using Bloomberg Terminal, Morningstar and various other sources of data. I supported financial advisors by assisting in the production of portfolio review documents for affluent and ultra-affluent clients, forecasting and analyzing of potential client asset growth and client asset allocation analysis. Lastly, I interacted with and assisted clients throughout various steps in the financial advising process, such as updating client files.
