As the Executive Director of Idaho Justice Project, I oversee the strategic vision, operations, and advocacy of a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the rights and dignity of people impacted by the criminal justice system in Idaho. With over 10 years of experience as a campaign manager, attorney, and advocate, I have a proven track record of creating change through a variety of tools and methods, such as campaign planning and management, community organizing, coalition building, advocacy, public interest litigation, direct client representation, research and writing, and public communications.My passion for criminal justice reform stems from my personal and professional experiences, as well as my academic background in economics and political science. I have witnessed and challenged the injustices and inefficiencies of the system, and I have supported and empowered the people who are most affected by it. I have also utilized my data science skills to analyze and communicate the impact and potential of policy and legal reforms. At Idaho Justice Project, I lead a team of talented and committed staff, volunteers, and partners who share a common vision of a fairer, safer, and more humane criminal justice system in Idaho.
