With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, I am a proven leader and expert in customer relationship management and sales. As the Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer at Visit Corpus Christi, the official DMO for the city I was tasked with the responsibility of leadership within the sales and marketing strategies for the destination, increasing the revenue, occupancy, and visitor satisfaction while managing the convention and group sales efforts for the destination. I also led the development and implementation of the CRM system, enhancing the data-driven decision making and customer engagement. In addition to sales efforts, as EVP I was able to create and manage our multi million dollar budget while also being a key leader in funding development for the organization. In addition to finance I also took on additional responsibilities including day to day Operations and Human Resources. Prior to, I was the Senior Director of Convention and Group Sales, where I managed a team of sales professionals and secured multiple large contracts and events for the city. Part of our sales management also included relationship management and on site customer service. I have always been passionate about promoting Corpus Christi as a premier destination for leisure and business travelers. I have a strong network of contacts and partners within the hospitality industry. I am looking for a new opportunities to continue to give back to my community and also branch out to leverage my skills and experience to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic and innovative organization.
