I have experiences spanning various business types in medical/sciences, entrepreneurial, and business. With DESCA, I helped launch the first STEM Talent Conference and ChemTech Conference in Delaware. With the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, I conceptualized, developed and launched programs that generated $68.8 million in revenues for the county. I have worked with Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies forecasting and managing projects generating over $1.4 million in annual revenues while assisting management with sales and increasing company profit by more than 30% annually. I previously worked as a medical editor for four major medical publications.I am currently an Advisory Board member of the Women's Business Center at True Access Capital, Business Department at Delaware Technical Community College, and a Board Member of the Tech Forum of Delaware. I have judged many startup competitions and am always happy to help startups where I can get the information and resources they need to succeed.I currently co-chair the Delaware Bioscience Inspiring Women (IW) in STEM activities. I was also selected for the Technical.ly Delaware RealLIST Connectors list in 2023. I was also a nominee for Technical.ly Delaware Culture Builder of the Year. I am a graduate from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., and is the youngest athlete to be inducted into my high school Athletic Hall of Fame for field hockey. I have published two books on field hockey.I coached field hockey for 20 + years at high school, club, and college levels and just recently retired to focus on my new career in Economic Development at Delaware Prosperity Partnership. I enjoy drinking tea, watching science fiction, playing with my cat, and walking with friends.
