During my tenure at Second Story I worked on all aspects of project management, content development, and quality assurance, in addition to becoming adept at understanding the technological requirements and possibilities of interactive digital media.As a producer, I managed both on-site and online multimedia projects from inception through installation, collaborating with the design and development teams to research, design, and produce interactive experiences for a variety of platforms. I was the primary contact for the studio's clients, working with them to acquire and develop content as well as ensuring that the interactive media met their organizational and strategic needs through weekly meetings and deliverable reviews and presentations.On a daily basis I managed several project schedules at a time, ensuring that team members were allocated appropriately for each project and had the resources required for them to pursue their work efficiently and to the utmost of their abilities. I ensured that team members met project goals at each phase of development, working with them as they defined and developed the information architecture, visual interface design, art and content needs, and functional requirements of interactive media; during the production phase I conducted and managed all quality assurance testing. Additionally, I coordinated the hardware and A/V specifications with the internal technology team and external exhibit designers and A/V integrators. As the primary content developer on the team, I researched project assets, wrote and edited text for interactive experiences, defined data requirements, developed video treatments and scripts, and directed video shoots and audio recording sessions, at the same time overseeing the tracking of all project assets.In addition, I hired contractors and participated in staff hiring committees, and contributed writing to the studio's Web site as well as other marketing materials.
