I am a theatrical costume technician focused on draping and tailoring. I have been well trained by several theatrical tailors before me. My obsession is fit and patternmaking with an emphasis on the historical. That said, I love to be handed a sketch for a dance costume based on nothing in history and told to figure out how to make it, and how to make it move.I love passing on as much knowledge as I can to my students as well as the professionals I train. It is my passion to continue learning and I hope at some point to distill all of what is in my head into a form that will last and can be passed on.Specialties: Period costume for theater and opera stages.
