During my Head Bartender role, I competed in numerous competitions, winning the regional award as a semi-finalist in 2019 for the Manhattan Experience with Woodford Reserve and Liquor.com, along with other beverage achievements. In 2020 I received global recognition from Liquor.com for my cocktail menu featuring healthy literary cocktails and unique glassware. I have also had my beverage creations featured in various editions of Sea Island Life Magazine and other Southeast Georgia publications. In 2019 I accepted the award as the Georgia Food & Beverage Team Member of the Year for the Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association. I then went on to study Japanese culture, beverage, and culinary to assist in leading a team to success for our pop-up Japanese Sushi Lounge during January and February 2020. During the pandemic I continued my studies and completed my degree while working where needed at Sea Island, between the Cloister Concierge Desk, Banquet Events, to Bartending at the Beach Club and various other restaurants. This has led me to my current role as the Assistant Manager at a luxury Spa and Fitness facility serving the Wellness community.
