I currently oversee Hub operations at Happy Returns, a UPS Company. My world touches on forecasting, capacity planning, process improvement and controls, IT, facilities, and safety. We're growing in exciting ways as we solve returns in the world of eCommerce. I previously spent time managing a variety of operations at McMaster-Carr, from fulfillment and warehousing to sales, marketing, and finance. I was also a classroom teacher along the Texas-Mexico border with Teach for America and completed a Master's in Economics in spring 2012. In addition to my experience managing an operation and a team I remain interested in research in the fields of education, international development and growth economics, specifically understanding and supporting the factors that cause a society to grow over the longer term.
