Eric Gray, a 25 year veteran of the Non-Profit Sector, is a skilled leader of professionals and volunteers in the ongoing advancement of his community. Gray is a frequent and outspoken advocate on issues of importance in Orlando, Florida such as poverty, homelessness, economics, local history, community health, philanthropy, fundraising, legislative policy, volunteerism and promotion of the non profit sector as a career. Eric Gray currently is privileged to serve as Executive Director The Christian Service Center for Central Florida. The Christian Service Center is one of Orlando’s oldest non profits serving neighbors in need since 1971. They have three campuses in Orange County including their Comprehensive Day Services Center in the Parramore Heritage neighborhood near downtown Orlando. Before joining the team at CSC, Eric served for seven years as Executive Director for United Against Poverty Orlando, and as VP Advancement at Give Kids the World. Eric served six years as executive director for the Central Florida office of the American Lung Association. He holds a masters in public administration and non profit management from the University of Kentucky and is also a graduate of the University of Florida where he was head drum major for the Gator Marching Band and chairman for the 1997 UF Dance Marathon benefiting the Children's Miracle Network.Eric was named to the Orlando Business Journal’s 40 under 40 list in 2006 and to the same publications CEO’s of the year in 2019. Eric serves as Vice Chair for the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce Fiduciary Board, the Florida Citrus Sports Pageantry and Presentation Committee, The UCF Wesley Foundation Board and The UCF Nonprofit Management Program advisory board. He coached YMCA youth soccer from 2007 to 2018. Eric was recognized in 2019 by the Orlando Sentinel as one of 10 people who make Orlando a better place to live. Eric launched both the John Young History Maker Celebration at the History Center in Orlando and the Fight for Air Stair Climb. For six years, Eric ran the largest charitable auto show in the Southeast and has planned more then 50 pledge based events. Eric chaired the American Lung Association National Major and Planned Giving Workgroup. Eric is married to his beautiful high school sweetheart Heather Bliss Gray, owner of Achieve Pediatric Therapy. They have four above average children.
