Eric serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Life Time, the privately held, comprehensive health and lifestyle company that offers a personalized and scientific approach to long-term health and wellness. Since joining the Company in September 1999, Eric has served as a key catalyst in numerous complex transactions that helped Life Time evolve from a health club operator to a comprehensive Healthy Way of Life Company, which helps organizations, communities and individuals achieve total health objectives, athletic aspirations and fitness goals. During his tenure with Life Time, Eric served as general counsel during the Company’s initial public offering of its common stock and later oversaw the transition back to a private company, as the company’s CFO. Along the way, he also developed the company’s risk management system, a comprehensive talent management and succession planning process as the executive responsible for human resources and he ran an ancillary business unit. Prior to Life Time Fitness, Eric was an associate with the law firm of Faegre & Benson LLP and, before that, a staff auditor at Arthur Andersen LLP. He also served as lecturer at the University of Wisconsin School of Business where he taught introductory Financial Accounting. He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
