Using the CQRS paradigm, built an asynchronous messaging system on Azure Service Bus to send queued commands and events between cloud and on-premise components.• Designed and built a prototype for an Azure cloud based endpoint for the Microsoft CodeSign system as a proof-of-concept for moving the system to the cloud. The prototype used the following Azure components and technologies: o Azure WebSites o Azure AD o Blob Storage o Azure SQL o Message Queue• Led a team of developers in building the Subscription Eligibility Management (SEM) system that provided new eligibility tracking services to Microsoft Online Assisted Support Portal and Incident Management System in preparation for the Windows 8 launch. The system was built using Azure services for scalability, and it was hosted on Azure as a PaaS hosted model. SEM enabled new support scenarios which the Windows 8 launch required.• Responsible for design excellence and quality development on the “Certification V3” project (a major IT program behind Microsoft Learning - www.microsoft.com/learning) that was historically managed by vendors with little oversight from Microsoft engineers. Streamlined some of existing engineering processes and practices to ensure they adhered more closely to Microsoft IT SDLC.Drove quality upstream by pushing for clarity in business requirements, more complete and well-thought-out functional and technical designs and more stringent code review process. The project was taken in-house and managed by Microsoft engineers. It was delivered to customer with highest quality and received the IT Pro Awards in Excellence in Execution. Show less
