Leads a team of 20 employees in an Army Brigade level Sustainment Operations Center (SOC), ensuring seamless daily operations and compliance with Army and company rules and procedures; Recommends approval on all internal and external customer support requests based on customer supply and lift support requirements; Directly responsible for the planning and execution of all operations of the Sustainment Operations Center; Ensures SOC personnel maintain secret security clearances; Request Government Incurred Overtime and Contractor Incurred Overtime approval; Accountable for SOC property valued at over $500,000; As hiring authority, conducted 50 job interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, competencies, alignment with company values, and candidate fit for job roles; Conducts mission analysis, orders production, and Brigade level command briefings; Develops and implements customer service training programs resulting in a 15% increase in positive customer satisfaction surveys; Fluent in the operation of all Brigade Command level Post Tactical Operations Center (TOC) operations, and Mission Command (MC) Systems; Provides Brigade Level Mission Command for Theater Support Sustainment Operations; Provides input to the 916th Sustainment Brigade on all supply sustainment operations and Rotational Training Unit mission support.

Responsible for the logistical planning and operations for nationwide military rotational training units from arrival at The National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California to departure. This planning includes monitoring, forecasting, requesting, tracking and delivery of all classes of military supplies. Monitors and advises the KBR, Inc. Division Manager, garrison sustainment brigade military and civilian leadership and Rotational Support Battalion Commanders on all logistical Supply, Services, Transportation, and Maintenance Operations in support of the NTC’s rotational training mission. Provides supervision and management of STAMIS systems utilized within the Brigade Sustainment Operations Center which may include as minimum: Command Post of the Future (CPOF) Computer System, Joint Capabilities Release (JCR) Computer System and other automation systems and confidential government information and documents to accomplish the logistics support services of the 916th Sustainment Brigade. Performing this job when this contract was flagged under Northrop Grumman Corporation from April 2008 to March 2017. KBR, Inc. took over this contract in September 2021.

Inspected over 300 various rebuilt Army wheeled vehicles per month which were being returned for use in Iraq, Afghanistan, Horn of Africa, Poland and the United States. Supervised the day to day management, maintenance and logistics operations of the Kuwaiti Offsite Maintenance Facility.Provided direct monitoring and interface with over 500 US government contracted maintenance personnel, and 70 foreign national workers ensuring their compliance to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) of a government awarded contract worth over $500m dollars. Directly supervised five government Quality Assurance Inspectors and 15 civilian contracted inspectors. Investigated, mediated and resolved mechanical disputes, issues and complaints between deploying unit personnel and civilian contracted maintenance personnel and initiated action to determine cause. Shipped, received and provided pricing data for eight commercial container handling vehicles and repair parts valued at over $3.2m dollars to and from the United States, Iraq and Afghanistan. Provided direct liaison between Army Material Command Headquarters, Army senior leadership, local Kuwaiti maintenance vendors and offsite maintenance facility managers and workers. Established logistic channels and local vendor services and equipment for special maintenance projects. Maintained accountability and serviceability of equipment and vehicles valued at over $7.2M dollars.

Served as mechanical and logistical advisor for 2,900 wheeled and tracked vehicles and support equipment of the National Training Center (NTC) Prepositioned Fleet valued in excess of $34 million. Mediated and settled mechanical maintenance disputes between rotational unit personnel and civilian contracted vehicle inspectors. Advised and briefed over 30 Brigade Commanders and senior leadership personnel on the logistical and maintenance procedures of vehicle and equipment issue, turn-in and repair parts purchases. Trained and mentored over 20 rotational maintenance first line supervisors on maintenance management procedures and the NTC parts requisition process. Interfaced daily with NTC and rotational senior leadership personnel, soldiers, civilian contractor personnel and local maintenance vendors. Utilized various repair parts manuals and computerized software and programs to research and track vehicle repair parts. Utilized hydraulic hose making machine to fabricate over $750k dollars worth of vehicle high pressure hydraulic hoses. Strictly enforced National Training Center and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety policies and procedures throughout the vehicle issue and turn-in yards. Maintained accountability and serviceability of equipment and vehicles valued at over $700k dollars.
