Led Congressional team with three office locations and sixteen staff. Developed and implemented Congressional strategy for promoting policy and political changes relevant to the goals of the Member of Congress. • Created and implemented strategy to increase visibility within the Republican Conference and leadership committees. • Increased communications with constituents through targeted social media and other forms of communication. • Implemented strategy for new committee assignment, which allowed for extensive interaction with Congressional Leadership, Members of Congress and their staff. • Oversaw Chairman's personal staff and coordinated with committee staff for issues on the Armed Services Military Personnel Subcommittee. • Served as office liaison to state and local economic development teams to help promote job creation in South Carolina.

Lobbied Congress on behalf of health care, insurance, labor, IT, tax, education, and military clients. Developed and executed government relations plans for coalitions, associations, corporations, unions and non-profit organizations.• Implemented plans to increase visibility, promote business development, lobby for issues and positively influence Members of Congress and Congressional Staff.• Instituted process for improved client service which included a January strategy session, mid-year review, year-end synopsis and annual board presentation for clients and their management teams. As Chief of Staff, I managed staff of sixteen, including offices in Washington, DC, Columbia, SC and Beaufort, SC and an annual budget of $1.3 million dollars. Advised the Congressman and Staff on Political and Policy decisions. I was responsible for establishing office goals, policies/procedures, handling human resource issues as well as managing the legislative agenda and related activities. Furthermore, I was heavily involved in the appropriations process for the office.

Managed Congressional campaign consisting of a budget of over $850,000, a staff of eight, and two office locations. • Created and implemented campaign plan, including media, finance and grassroots components. Represented candidate at events and public speaking engagements. • Executed a plan which included donating and raising over $1.5 Million for more than 80 candidates and political Party committees. Campaigned in 16 states and 31 Congressional Districts. • Managed Congressional Campaign fundraising, social media strategy and oversight of Federal Elections Commission (FEC) compliance.

• Prepared meeting notices and agendas, and briefed Senators on transportation issues of importance for committee meetings. • Advised Chairman and members on committee procedure during committee meetings. • Created and provided briefing and position papers to Chairman and committee members. • Served as liaison between lobbyists and members of the committee. • Managed State Senate Office and Committee Staff.

Served as Campaign Manager to the late Congressman Floyd Spence. Managed 6 people in the main campaign office and 2 staff in a satellite office. Floyd Spence was elected in this election against a formidable Democrat candidate.

• Served as real estate attorney for commercial and residential transactions.• Closed an annual record number of real estate transactions for firm for 1999 and 2000.• Co-managed the firm's real estate transactions division.• Created successful plan to expand real estate practice within the firm, more than doubling the practice in two years.• Assisted firm in civil and criminal litigation and estate law.

Served as Deputy Campaign Manager under then State Senator Joe Wilson.

Served as Law Clerk to Circuit Judge Marc Westbrook. Traveled throughout South Carolina assisting Judge Westbrook on cases, including 3 death penalty cases.
