TooLow is a mobile app that helps consumers locate nearby businesses that are willing to sell products at a discount. Local merchants are willing to sell products or services at a discount because the products or services are only available during traditional slow times. For example, a restaurant that is normally open for lunch and dinner will use TooLow to offer discount prices for food, but only when purchased and picked up between 2:30pm to 5pm. TooLow charges a small markup (charged to the buyer) for the service.My role is to help recruit capable people in the marketing department, reach out to merchants and consumers to download and use the app, and provide other leads to help TooLow succeed.

Viberent is a SaaS system for SMBs/SMEs in the equipment rental space. It helps equipment rental companies unify all their myriad software tools into one system to track their equipment inventory, perform basic customer relation management, and interact with their accounting system, so that human intervention (and error!) is reduced.I am heading the business development here in the US. Viberent is an Australian company, breaking into the US market. My role is to connect the company to all the many equipment rental businesses and trade associations.

I am the business development director, which means I identify and connect with potential clients (patent litigators) and explain how they can benefit from using DataNovo's cool suite of tools.I am also the lead in creating the algorithms we use to analyze and predict whether a patent is likely to have some of its claims canceled or not. The algorithms rely on the data from all IPR and CBM cases through PTAB since its inception in September of 2012. The data, although available to everyone since court data are for public viewing, are – at best – an incomprehensible mess of scattering information.
