ODB Films is an award-winning not-for-profit video production ministry that exists to foster an encounter with Christ through artfully made, spiritually rich films. Since 2005, ODB has produced 250 short films - including the 60-film Video Catechism (VCAT) series for teens and Zombies vs. Jesus, which won “Best Short Film” at the 2012 John Paul II International Film Festival.In May 2015, ODB released its first feature film, Full of Grace. The film won “Best Screenplay” at the 2015 John Paul II International Film Festival and received a Gabriel Award for “Best Family Feature” in 2016. Partnering with Sony Pictures/AFFIRM Films, ODB released Paul, Apostle of Christ in March 2018. The film opened in more than 30 countries, earning $30+ million world-wide. It received several accolades, including a “Most Inspirational Film” nomination at the 2018 GMA Dove Awards, a “Most Inspiring Film” nomination at the 2019 Movieguide Awards, “Best Feature Film” at the 2019 Gabriel Awards and a prestigious Christopher Award in the feature film category at the 70th annual Christopher Awards in 2019.Most recently, ODB released a six part docuseries called RESTORED: Stories of Encounter. Episode 3 on Deacon Pablo Perez, former Latin Kings gang member in Chicago, was an “Official Selection” in the November 2019 Justice Film Festival in New York City.In addition to the creation of content, ODB also offers Film & Reflection Events and Innovation Conferences and has facilitated several hundred over the past four years in dioceses, churches and schools throughout the United States.

Written, directed and produced by Ethan Hawke, WILDCAT is an unconventional biopic that follows young writer Flannery O'Connor as she struggles to publish her first novel. A devout Catholic from Georgia, O'Connor was invited to the prestigious Iowa Writers' Workshop. Famous for her offbeat short fiction about the American South and her faith, she was plagued by lupus for much of her life and died at the age 39. She received much posthumous acclaim, including the National Book Award. The film stars Maya Hawke, Laura Linney, Philip Ettinger, Rafael Casal, Steve Zahn, Cooper Hoffman, Willa Fitzgerald, Alessandro Nivola, Liam Neeson and Vincent D’Onofrio. It will be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.
