- Wrote a script tool (.tbx) that automates creating a feature class of contour lines from a digital elevation model, then generate a feature class of sample points based on regular or random intervals along the contour line, and output these feature classes in the desired folder- Engaged in field work, where experience in Survey Total Stations and Real Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS and LiDAR was gained, in addition to maintaining a detailed field notebook that would be frequently called upon for reference by the project manager to document locations, measurements and observations for each field technique- Employed Spatial Analyst tools in ArcGIS to manipulate raster data for calculating landscape indices to further analyze the effects of anthropogenic activities on black bear habitat fragmentation- Modeled best practices for reducing erosion on crop fields in ArcGIS; drafted erosion management plan to scale down erosion by a significant margin- Diagnosed demographic, political, and urban concepts pertaining to social geography. As well as resolved environmental challenges by interpreting both natural and societal impacts, analyzed the implications and determined a sustainable solution
