Head of a business unit of four Luxembourg-based mutual funds investing in listed companies meeting the distinctive and highly demanding sustainable criteria of Triodos Bank. As team head, I was responsible both for the investment strategy and governance, as well as a variety of sales and marketing activities related to the funds under my supervision. Together with the team, we also developed and maintained partnerships with large service providers such as RBC Investor & Treasury Services and Delta Lloyd Asset Management. Key Triodos spokesman, appearing in a variety of Dutch and international media and speaking at international conferences.Together with the team we achieved the following results:- Grew assets under management in business unit’s four funds from € 500 million at te end of 2012 to € 1.3 billion at the end of April 2017;- Successfully expanded distribution of the funds from primarily Belgium and the Netherlands, to include Denmark, France, Luxembourg and the UK;- Implemented crucial steps in the governance of the funds to satisfy stricter regulation and reporting criteria.I combined these responsibilities with the role of Head of Arts and Culture (see below).

I had a dual function in this role. First, I managed Triodos Culture Fund, a € 100-million investment vehicle for the creative Industry. In addition to this, I was the International Coordinator and Spokesman for financing the creative industry across all of the branches of Triodos Bank in Europe. In this role I acted as a parliamentary lobbyist for the creative sector and was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with a variety of national, international and local government bodies across Europe, including the European Commission. The later has given me critical experience in managing a diverse array of stakeholder groups on issues related to sustainability.Together with the team, we achieved the following results: - Successfully transformed the strategy of Triodos Culture Fund from a focus on fiscal stimulation with risk-avoiding low interest loans into a fund that provides loans with a higher risk/return profile and higher impact;- Appointed member of an Expert Group of the European Commission to develop competencies in EU public policy processes;- Appointed member of the circle of permanent advisers to the Dutch Council for Culture
