Eric supervises a robust Mid-Atlantic litigation practice defending both single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits arising out of consumer and commercial products filed against banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, student lenders, credit card companies, auto finance companies, debt collection companies and other financial services institutions. These claims may arise under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), as well as state unfair trade practices laws. Eric regularly counsel clients on compliance with state and federal law, including client training programs and CLE programs. Eric also assists clients with responses to complaints filed with state and federal regulators. Eric also has experience in a wide range of other areas of law, including real estate, health care, mass tort, products liability, medical malpractice, construction, fidelity and surety, contracts, insurance and bankruptcy-related claims. Eric has litigated cases in federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as mediations and arbitrations, both regionally and throughout the country.
