Decide on the severity of the damage that will determine where the part goes: back to the Manufacturer, Sold On-line or disposed. In Returns, open packaging (except Factory-sealed), check out parts brought back from Customers to decide on where parts go next: return to Stock, Claims, return to Customer, or Core Credits. For return to Stock parts, print new Putaway labels and put parts on Carts (or Floor for larger Parts) for Pick Crew. I Started in a Group that updated Software or Hardware for existing products. During a Reorganization, I was Transferred into Test Engineering, to develop Analog and Digital Circuit Board Tests for In-Circuit Emulators, and similar Products. These Board Tests were developed to run on large Automated Test Equipment, that used Vacuum Fixtures to hold Board while Under Test. I was also responsible to verify and update the Group's Vacuum Fixtures.
