Assisting the sales team by providing an estimated quote for customers. Customers will reach out to the company asking for a forged part and it is my duty to review the provided drawing and specs to make sure SIFCO can provide the part. Then I proceed to model the part in CATIA 3D modeling software in order to obtain volumes of rigid parts to insert into Excel equations. These equations provide accurate prices to provide to the customer. I also get to work with other suppliers for raw material or outside work.

I am currently working at NMG Aerospace as my second Co-Op rotation. Since its a smaller company than PCC Airfoils, sometimes it feels like I have to relearn some communication and collaborating skills. However I am still able to use my other engineering skills and apply them here. I've already begun some procedure edits and updates. I've gotten to know some of the operators and learn some of their skills and ideas.

**Seasonal**I am a student manager in charge of opening the store most days of the week along with occasionally closing the store. I handle money with customers as well as make there desired food or smoothie. As a team we would make sure the store was clean and the dishes were done. We would unload the delivery trucks when necessary as well as restock the store. As a student manager I was given keys to the store in case my manager was unable to be present to unlock the doors in the morning. I always had a smile on my face when I would greet the customers and I would serve them with compassion.

**Seasonal**I work as a cashier, cleaning the store, making the custard, training new workers, working and helping customers, closing the store, along with other tasks to improve the business. I was promoted to Closing manager with new responsibilities of closing the store whenever I am assigned to do so. This includes making sure the store is clean, counting the collected cash for the night, and counting and distributing collected tips. I always try to give the customers the best experience they can have when they are served by me.

The few short months I was at PCC Airfoils was my first job related to my degree. It was also my first job in a more corporate environment. My two other jobs are in a customer and food environment so it was pretty different. However some skills, like communication skills helped out with talking to my coworkers. I learned how to collaborate with other coworkers on projects as well as collaborating with operators in order to help them. I learned a lot about how the corporate world works and how working throughout multiple plants worked. It was a great job to get my career in engineering started. I would spend my time updating procedures and analyzing data in excel. There was a factory floor with lots of operators that I got to meet and work with. I would spend time trying to learn and understand their methods as well as how I could improve their method. Sometimes that involved on making a new tool or fixture for their operation. Then, I was given the opportunity to create a CAD part and 3D print the part to test it out. It was my first time 3D printing and there is a lot more to it than I realized.
