- Developed an innovative input-output model(CLIO Model) to estimate the costs and benefits of regulations on Canada’s economy. - Advised the governments of Slovakia, Abu Dhabi, and India on measuring the costs and benefits of regulations, improving the impact of new laws. - Collected and analysed socioeconomic data for CropLife Canada – the business group for Canada’s multi-billion dollar plant science sector to further advocacy work and intergovernmental relations. - Reported on selected regulatory issues in Canada, such as the GDP impacts of red tape on Canada’s economy, to inform decision-makers.

- Managed and coordinated a 500K€ EU-funded project on improving regulatory impact analysis in Portugal, including hiring and directing an economics team based in Lisbon. - Provided advice on regulatory policy in OECD and non-OECD countries, specifically how governments analyze a regulation’s cost-benefit impacts to improve policy outcomes.- Secured funding for more than 1.5 million € in voluntary contributions for projects with the governments of both OECD and non-OECD countries. - Represented the OECD at over twenty international conferences and workshops, presenting findings and theory to non-technical audiences. - Supported the survey, data collection, and analysis of the Indicators of Regulatory Policy that includes more than 40 countries.

- Developed detailed models of the macroeconomic and social impacts of laws and regulations for industry groups and government clients, including CropLife, CAIA, and others. - Conducted cost-benefit analysis of policy issues for both government and private businesses. - Updated the international member database for the International Association for Research in Income and Wealth (IARIW).- Coordinated mass emails and shipping economic publications to the international membership.- Maintained the IARIW website with up-to-date news and information. - Analysed the benchmarking database for the Index of Economic Well-being for OECD Countries.- Reported on the important trends in Canada’s labour productivity, including the production of a 120-page report and a new online database.

- Assisted and taught class sub-sections, providing individual instruction to students, and evaluating and grading student performance. Over 100 hours of teaching at the university level. Courses included introductory and intermediate microeconomics, macroeconomics (including introductory international trade), and econometrics.
