I spent most days walking the stores or utilizing the cctv system to monitor customers/employees, apprehend shoplifters, recover merchandise, deal with panhandlers, as well as any other situations required by management. I would follow company guidelines on how to apprehend a subject, deal with the different scenarios, communicate effectively with store management, and then notify the police. Upon relaying the information to the proper authorities I would then document everything thoroughly in a report.
