6 months program working on a project with ProMéxico (Branch of the Mexican Ministry of Economy) and Citius Capital (Real Estate firm). I am looking for companies from the automotive industry, our target are the OEM's suppliers (Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3) that have no facilities in México and for customers’ service, logistics or cost-improvement, need to establish a new plant or want to expand their operation already in México. Build up a data base of potential clients, looking them up on internet, directories of automotive industry or attending fairs, business forums or any other event related with the industry and also to be the first contact between Citius Capital and the investor, and help them out with the real estate subject in Mexico, among other services.At the same time, I am collaborating with ProMéxico Detroit office with local tasks and labors, covering the states of MI, OH, KY, IN, and south Illinois, being the local resource and providing key information for any business related in México.Main activities: Market research Business Development Networking Foreign direct investment

• Preparation of the companies profile in order to get them ready to submit their application to the VAT and STPS Certification, review of the obligations fulfillment, submitting of notices and answers to requirements and official letters regarding to VAT and STPS certification, as well as certified companies by SAT (OEA before known NEEC).• Manage of periodic obligations compliance, attending to requirements from Tax Authorities, Customs and consultations with Tax Authorities about compliance of the customs-enabled precincts. • Support to the merger of two authorizations of customs-enabled precincts issued to the same Taxpayer.• Verification of information: Data Stage vs Annex 24 and Annex 31, verifying the submitted information, values and quantities.• Elaboration of proposals for clients, giving detail and explaining the scope of our services in English.• Customs compliance audit.

• Representative of the Global Mobility team in Puebla• Contact in Mexico with other EY’s offices from different countries, in order to establish the assignee tax residency according with the local and foreign law.• Interviews with assignees in order to know the tax treatment in Mexico and abroad. • Constant communication with the assignees and the Company where they work, getting information regarding to the pending procedures with the Mexican Tax Authority. • Review of annual tax returns, Tax equalizations, provisional payments and payments of non-residents of Income Tax.• Training and supervision of Global Mobility’s Support staff in Puebla.

• Calculation and elaboration of annual tax returns of foreigners in Mexico and Mexicans abroad, according to the tax residency status.• Tax equalization preparation according to internal policies of the companies. • Processing and follow-up of tax refunds of Income Tax. • Calculation and elaboration of payment directions for provisional payments of residents and non-residents in Mexico of Income Tax.• Help to foreign assignees with the Mexican Tax Authority obtaining formal documentation such as, Tax ID, changes and letters of tax residency and obtaining electronic signatures. • Control and managing of 200 assignees database with information inherent to their assignment.
