I directly worked with individuals and families that struggled with housing, clothes, and food. I provided essential services and resources to those in need as well as giving a listening ear. During my time interning with this organization I mainly helped with LSI, Life Skills Institute. I would check students in for their classes which included computer skills, cooking, interviews and job related classes, drawing/painting, etc. I was able to interact with them as well as assist in classes when needed. I also helped the director with side projects for the program.
