CurrentFocused on supporting affordable housing, urban planning, and educational initiatives that improve the lives of low-income communities. Primarily combine financial modeling, quantitative, and geospatial skills with deep understanding of affordable housing finance/development and education programming. Highlights include: 🏢 Real Estate: Affordable and permanent supportive housing acquisition and development in California. Working with several clients to build financial models, create development timeline with milestones for selected sites, and work with acquisition lenders to close on sites. Have also completed LIHTC applications, as well as narrative building, financial analysis, and writing for NOFA requests. Subcontractor for Matt Huerta Consulting, LLC and Zen Development Consultants, LLC. 📚 Education: “Mapping the Gap: Out-of-School Time Programming in Albuquerque”, a mixed-method analysis to understand where OST programs are located in the City of Albuquerque, and where these programs are needed most. Created criteria to designate census tracts as ‘high need’ for OST programing and used census-tract level data and geospatial analysis to determine which census tracts were ‘high need’. Managed surveying of over 3,500 nonprofits in ABQ to determine where OST programs were located.📚 Education: “Engaging Marginalized Youth in Hunting and Angling: Identified Best Practices and Opportunities”, a mixed-method analysis for the New Mexico Wildlife Federation to identify best practices to engage underrepresented youth in hunting and angling activities. Work included facilitating ‘listening sessions’ with partner organizations, conducting literature review of peer-reviewed research, and identifying best practices from existing curriculum.
